About this Course
Standing up for yourself and your rights can be difficult, it is important to understand your rights and when these rights are being crossed. In this two session course we will explore the importance of advocacy, what your rights are under the Mental Health Act and the Vulnerable Persons Act, and provide you with skills and resources to better advocate for yourself and others whether it be in the workplace, healthcare system, with friends, or within your community.
Course Date & Time: Wednesday, March 27 & Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
