About Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT)
CMHA Manitoba and Winnipeg and the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre now offer the Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) program, designed to help people supporting a loved one with substance use. The aim of the program is to provide education, empowerment, and hope by developing positive ways of interacting with loved ones who are struggling with substance use but are not ready to make changes or get help.
Program participants should be 18 years or older and looking to support someone struggling with substance use (alcohol or drugs).
Program Goals
- Improve your quality of life and take care of yourself.
- Help your loved one discover and adopt a pleasurable and healthy lifestyle that is more rewarding than substance use.
- Be prepared when interacting with your loved one.
